How to Commission Artwork

There are 3 stages to hiring an artist:

1) Find artists and add them to Your Artist Shortlist.

a) If you don't have a specific artist in mind, you can select artist(s) by style, either from a Cartoon Style picture on the Hire An Artist homepage, or browse styles using the different links listed under the heading 'Our Artists' in the left-hand column of any page.

b) If you know the name of the artist, you can go to their portfolio page either by using the Search box, or by selecting the Browse Artists link in the left-hand column of any page

c) Once you've found an artist with a style you're happy with, you can click the green 'Add to Shortlist' button on their page to add that artist to Your Artist Shortlist.

2) Finalise your selection.

When you have added all the artists you want, click on the Your Artist Shortlist, at the top of the page or the left-hand side of the page, to view your selection.

You can remove an artist from your shortlist by ticking the 'Remove Artist' box and selecting the 'Update Shortlist' button.

3) Let us know how to get in touch with you, and tell us what you require.

When you're happy with Your Artist Shortlist, Click on the 'Create Your Brief' on the Shortlist page to fill in your contact information and provide details about the artwork you need commissioning.

Alternatively, just provide your contact details and we will call you to obtain further details of your brief.
